Joint Ventures
Joint ventures have long been used by construction firms on major projects, to share expertise, resources, and risk. Rados has participated in many joint venture projects, utilizing both the Bid/Build and Design/Build methods of delivery.
Rados joint ventured with Granite Construction Company and C.C. Myers, Inc. (GMR, JV) to design and construct the $489 million SR-22 Freeway Widening Project in Orange County, CA. We have teamed with Skanska Civil (SRJV) as a joint venture partner on the EXPO 2 Light Rail Project and the EXPO 2 Bikeway Project. These two projects represent a joint venture in the amount of $570 million. Rados is also a joint venture partner with Skanska Civil on the $168.8 million reconstruction of the I-215 Freeway, Segments 1 & 2, in San Bernardino, CA.
