Work Performed: SRJV is designing and constructing 6.7 miles of the EXPO Rail Transit Line from Culver City to Santa Monica, CA. The project involves clearing the alignment, grading and excavating; storm drain installation; water and sanitary sewer relocations; track bed construction; street crossings; underground conduits for train controls, communications, lighting and signals; construction of ballast, ties, and rails including switches; and an overhead catenary system. Also included is the construction of bridge structures to carry the EXPO 2 rail line over major city streets; elevated and at grade station platforms; and architectural appointments at the stations and station plazas.
