Work Performed: In a modified two phase construction sequencing, Rados/Polich will seismically retrofit the arch girders that support the deck and superstructure of this bridge. The retrofit includes adding steel jackets at strategic points along the arches, adding reinforcing and then guniting the arches for added strength. Also included is the resurfacing of the bridge deck with a polymer concrete overlay.
