Work Performed: This contract requires Rados to reconstruct portions of these two Hetch Hetchy pipelines that cross under the I-680 & Mission Boulevard in the City of Freemont, CA. A major component of the project is the construction of an articulating vault and slip-joint that is intended to prevent a failure of these two major pipelines, under the freeway interchange, in the event of a major seismic event along the Hayward Fault.
